Senior Women and Civic Engagement #5 : Recommendations

This is the fifth of five fact sheets produced in the Senior Women and Civic Engagement series which explores the participation of older women in their communities, the barriers and avenues to their participation, and how their intersectional identities shape their involvement.
This last fact sheet presents policy level and organizational level recommendations with the aim of removing barriers to accessing civic engagement with the consideration of the impacts at the intersection of gender, disability, race, sexual identity, and immigration status.
