All of CRIAW-ICREF’s work flows from an overarching goal to provide tools and information to organizations and activists taking action to advance social justice and equality for all women.

Research Projects
CRIAW-ICREF researches and documents the social and economic situation of women in Canada, using intersectional feminist frameworks, for social justice and equality for all women.

The Feminist Word
The Feminist Word (The F-Word) magazine features the voices of young women across Canada by showcasing their thoughtful and creative words and art. This CRIAW-ICREF publication is widely distributed in print and online.
We accept submissions to the F-Word year long! Learn how to submit your written work or artwork and to learn more about the upcoming edition.

Feminist Intersectionality and GBA+
CRIAW-ICREF has a long history of doing research, policy analysis and education on feminist intersectionality and Gender Based Analysis Plus (GBA+). We develop tools for feminist intersectional analysis for community-based women’s organizations and other equity-seeking groups, as well as provide research and training services on GBA+ and intersectionality.

Scholarship Funds
CRIAW-ICREF administers two Scholarship Funds, established in memory of Marta Danylewycz and Barbara Roberts. Proposals are accepted in the Spring of each year.
