Join us on March 22, 2022, at 2PM EDT for the Feminist Responses to the Global Rise in Right-Wing Extremism parallel event.
The rapid growth and mobilization of right-wing extremist groups and right-wing governments around the world threatens hard-fought gains and limits progress on women’s rights.
This participatory, interactive parallel event will be held at the NGO CSW66 Forum with feminists globally to discuss and strategize how to counter the rise in anti-feminism and right-wing extremism. It is urgent for feminists to discuss how we can organize and strategize together in response to this misogynistic racist movement.
Participants from different regions will be asked to discuss the impacts of the extreme right on women’s rights and intersectional feminist action in their own contexts and share strategies we can use to effectively counter this growing movement.
