Women’s Rights, Economy, and Power

Feminists have long called for an analysis of the structures and systems of power and control in our societies to transform them for women’s rights and substantive equality. Economic systems wield great power over our lives, but the linkages between economics and social power are not fully understood. It is critical for us to understand the intersection of economics and power if we are to succeed in advancing gender justice.
