Linking Accessibility, Safety, Violence & Transportation

This is the fourth of four fact sheets produced by the study, Here Today, Gone Tomorrow: Public Transportation and Vulnerabilities in Rural and Remote Canada which explored how remote and rural places face complex social, political and economic obstacles in order to achieve sustainable, accessible, and appropriate transportation and exercise mobility rights.
This last fact sheet examines how social factors exacerbate multifaceted experiences of vulnerability, risk, and violence due to the absence of affordable public transportation.
