Invisible walls: Muslim women and gender-diverse people’s struggles in Canada
The Canadian Council of Muslim Women (CCMW) presents four fictional stories that closely reflect the real-life experiences of Muslim women and gender-diverse people in Canada. The resource contextualizes regressive and anti-feminist movements from these perspectives using corresponding visuals. The real and multi-faceted ways in which regressive movements operate in Canada are explored through the CCMW’s analysis of interrelated issues of Islamophobia, sexism and gender-based issues, racism, and xenophobia.
