Canadian Prairie Women’s History: A Bibliographic Survey – Women and Men in Western American History

The CRIAW Papers comprises a continuing series of publications: original research papers advancing the knowledge and understanding of women’s experience.
These two papers are critical reflections on the state of historical writing dealing with women in the western regions of Canada and the United States. Their reflections provide readers with a survey of recent writings on western women (April 1987) and a handy reference tool for further research. Both papers were presented at a session of the annual meeting of the Canadian Historical Association in Winnipeg, Manitoba in June 1986.
