Social Supports and Women’s Wellbeing in HV-GB

In 2018, a survey was conducted to better understand the wellbeing of women in and around Happy Valley-Goose Bay. This report focuses on survey results about access to and quality of social supports. Social supports include mental and physical healthcare services, housing services, and interpersonal relationships. Social support resources in the community are related mostly to the physical, emotional, and mental/intellectual aspects of wellbeing.
