CRIAW-ICREF women attended the 63rd session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW63) in New York. This year's Priority Theme was ‘Social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls’ while the review theme focussed on ‘Women’s empowerment and the link to sustainable development (Agreed Conclusions of the sixtieth session)’.
The UN Special Report contains a description of the two parallel sessions hosted by CRIAW-ICREF - Building Sustainable Infrastructure for Women Globally and Impacts of Neoliberalism and Austerity on Women: A North-South Conversation - and reports from CRIAW-ICREF women who attended the various meetings and events of CSW63.
