CRIAW-ICREF relies on the support of members and donors to continue conducting ground-breaking feminist intersectional research and analysis to advance women’s rights in Canada.
Project based funding is an important, but unstable and restrictive source of funding for us at CRIAW-ICREF. As a not-for-profit member-based organization the support of donors and members provides us more stability and enables us to conduct timely and responsive feminist intersectional research and analysis.

CRIAW-ICREF is a non-profit organization and federally registered charity. Full tax receipts are issued for donations. The standard $30 membership includes a partial tax receipt; membership contributions above $30 are eligible for a full tax receipt.

There are two ways you can join CRIAW-ICREF and help us celebrate 50 years of feminist intersectional research:
Monthly Membership
Set the amount you wish to give monthly, and it will be debited automatically. You can end automatic payments at any time. You will still receive an annual charitable tax receipt without the hassle of renewing each year.
Monthly memberships provide CRIAW-ICREF with reliable, predictable support and reduce administration costs, allowing us to focus on producing meaningful work for women’s equality.
Annual Membership
You can also choose to join CRIAW-ICREF through an annual membership fee. Renew once a year and choose the amount you wish to give for your annual membership.

Institutional Membership
Women’s studies/gender studies departments, foundations, research institutes, and not for profit organizations can also join as a CRIAW-ICREF member.
