Each chapter looks at 5 themes within each critical area of concern (Women and Peace, Human Rights of Women, Women and Health, Violence Against Women, Women and Poverty, Women and the Economy, Education and Training of Women, The Girl Child, Women and the Media, Women and the Environment, Women and Power and Decision Making) and gives you the following: What the Platform For Action Says, What This Means for Women in Canada and How You Can Take Action.
