Congratulations to both Awatef Rasheed and Jane Stinson for being selected to receive a Femmy Award for outstanding feminist achievement at this year's International Women's Day event: "I'm Still Not a Feminist, But...". 

The Femmy Awards are intended to honour women located in the National Capital Region who have made outstanding contributions to the struggle for women's equality. 

We invite you to join CRIAW in celebrating International Women's Day as well as the achievement of two of our Board members who devote themselves to the equality of women everywhere.

This free event is on March 8th at the National Archives (Map), from 7-10 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.).  The event includes a film, feminist improv and the annual "Femmy" awards.
